RACE NOTES
This race will provide a full test of your technical navigation skills and also your running in somewhat rough terrain. Because of the nature of this area we are using just a small part of the overall map, so expect to see many, many controls in the forest - be certain to check your codes!
There will be no water provided on course or at the arena. Please bring your own.
WRE NOTES
A reminder for all competitors on the M21 & W21 classes that IOF Competition Rules apply and that these rules forbid the use of GPS devices unless there is “no display or audible feedback”.
IOF Rules also require that the size of the control descriptions available at the pre-start is specified:
M21: 11cm X 4cm
W21: 9cm X 4cm
WARM UP MAP
A small warm up map is available that will allow you to spend some time in the terrain, getting familiar with the forest and the mapping style, especially the level of generalization of rock features. A printed copy will be in your race package. Note this area is completely embargoed until 9:30am on the morning of the race.
